Hello there, my name is Syarifah Nurul Husna. My part in this group blog is about beaches in langkawi I wanna create the information about location, description, and also the attractive for each beach. So that makes you guys easier to choose the best beach for holiday.

Main Idea

Langkawi is a perfect paradise for your beach-vacation. This lovely mystical island is warm and sunny all-year-around with stretches of stunning white sandy beaches. It has plenty of sun-soaked sands and so much to offer for everyone. Warmth, sunshine, peace, happiness, magic moment you’d get them all. Just grab your sunglasses and have fun!!

Kok Beach:

Location: In the western part of Langkawi, 24.8 km away from Kuah
Highlights: Replica of Thai Palace
How To Reach: One can easily reach here by hiring taxis, or by boarding buses from the island.

Pantai Kok is a tranquil beach on the beautiful island of Langkawi. This soothing beach is to be found about 24.8 km away from Kuah, on the western tip of Langkawi Island. Being located in a secluded area, it is the best site for honeymooners and solitude seekers. It is characterized by silky sands and shimmering waters. In its virgin locale, your eyes will generously feast on profuse greenery and sailing yachts.

Tanjung Rhu:

Location: Located at the northernmost point of Langkawi Island.

Description: One of the most popular beach in Langkawi, playing host to two of the most expensive resorts on the island, name the Four Seasons Resort and Tanjung Rhu Resort.

Attraction : limestone formations of the nearby islands. There are a number of small boat operators offering tours to the limestone islands - to see the vegetation, the dark caves, possibly some small animals, etc.

It is claimed at one of the islands, called Dangli Island, hosts some nice coral for snorkeling, but I have a feeling that the visibility is not so good, judging from the condition of the beach itself and its close proximity to the mangrove river that meets the Andaman Sea at Tanjung Rhu.

Best time to visit
Tough it is a place you would love be all the year round, the summers rare the best time to visit. It is better to avoid the rainy season when the sea waters remains turbulent

The beach is well kept by the resorts' personnel. Look up and see if you can catch a glimpse of the eagle roaming in the area, probably looking for a quick meal

Cenang Beach:

Location : at the south western coastline of Langkawi - 25 km west of Kuah

Description : This popular beach is the longest beach on the island and probably the most attractive. Known to the natives as Pantai Cenang, the beach is a long stretch of golden white sands and is virtually a tourist paradise.

Attraction: The shoreline of Cenang is especially famous for the extraordinary sunset view it provides. The two kilometer long coast stretch is fringed swaying with casuarinas and coconut trees. Duty Free shopping at the Zone Shopping Paradise is a sheer delight. Indulge yourself in the best chocolates, beer, cigarettes, clothes and electronic items at throwaway prices. Visitors to Cenang Beach often find great thrill in wading to the nearby Rebak Kecil Island when the tide is out. It is important to return while the tide is still low as the mainland often becomes inaccessible at other times. Tengah Beach Langkawi

Location : The Tengah Beach, Langkawi is located at about 500 meters south of Pantai Cenang. The beach is though not fit for swimming, is a lovely place to enjoy the serene beauty.

Description :The peaceful beach of the Tengah Beach, Langkawi is there to offer you with a long craved respite that makes the land unique in its own terms. Enjoy the sun gradually sinking. As the sun sets the place wraps itself in a soothing pink color that is to lure you. In fact it would be no wrong to say that the beach is a paradise for any nature lover.

Accommodations: Here you have to rest in the low-key chalets that are most commonly found her. In order to promote tourism efforts have been taken to build innumerable resorts that are now available now. The Lanai Beach Resort is renowned for its simple lodging. The Awana Porto Malai Langkawi is another resort frequented by the tourists for its deluxe rooms.

Attractions : Enjoy the beach side massage and present yourself with a tanned look after lying under the sun for a couple of hours. Learn to make batik at the Safari Batik Gallery. In addition to these have a gala time with your friends in the numerous cafes that never fail to attract people.
